For the 20th time, in January 2020, the Ramsau cross-country WM stadium will turn into a hot-spot of the Nordic marathon hobby ski scene.
Since 2019 the Tour de Ramsau/Dachstein is also a Euroloppet Champion Race and member of the International Ski Marathon Series Euroloppet.
For both hobby and professional athletes, there is not only the 42-K Dachstein Skating main event, but even several great distances to choose from.
Everyone can join in. Everyone can be a part of it.
The Dachstein Nightrace over the sprint distance of 1 km on Friday, opens the Tour de Ramsau/Dachstein for the specialists. On Saturday, the 30 km or 10 km of the Dachstein Classic and the Dachstein Kids Race are scheduled. The Dachstein Skating over 42 km or 12 km on Sunday ends the international major event in Ramsau am Dachstein.
The overall Tour de Ramsau/Dachstein classification is the only three-day tour for ambitious ski marathon XC skiers globally. Once again this winter, participants will give their best to gain metres and seconds. The overall Tour de Ramsau/Dachstein classification includes the Dachstein Nightrace (1 km individual sprint), the 30-K Dachstein Classic and the final 42-K Dachstein Skating.
NEW in this winter is the overall Mini Tour de Ramsau classification which includes the Dachstein Nightrace (1 km individual sprint), the 10-K Dachstein Classic and the 12-K Dachstein Skating.
A colourful side-programme provides great over three days.
The Tour de Ramsau/Dachstein is the only major event of this kind in Europe. Yet again this winter, it will take place as Green Event. The organising committee focuses on sustainability, offering only regional products at the food and drinks stalls for visitors and along the race track.
The organiser work with the Ramsau Bioniere. The co-operation of Ramsau am Dachstein’s organic farmers, caterers, and further regional companies has repeatedly been awarded for its initiative.
